This is fishlipsjay, or The recently honored dude, Jay Jorgenson. Live in Minnesota and got my first NES some where's in the area of 1988. In '92, I upgraded to the SNES (I can hear the forums lighting up), and have my NES to my grandparents, which they played and and held onto until 2007, when they returned it to me in perfect working order. I still have it almost 30 years later and play it to this day, with a new pin connector upgrade of course. Found the dudes from a very long podcast train and am in the process of starting a "dude-esque" podcast called "Super Ninten-dorks".

'Bout time you joined for realzez Dude Jay. I'll be on the lookout for your SNES pod (I'm assuming it's an SNES pod). I'd also be curious to hear about this "very long podcast train" even though it sounds kinda gross.

I started listening to factory sealed and heard nick Stevens talk about the NES podcast, which then brought me to the retro junkies super show, leAding me down the rabbit hole to turtle flakes, all the way back to 2 dudes.

Oh cool. Factory Sealed helped to inspire us back when we started Retro Thought Pod. Then I reached out to Nick with NES Podcast and Rob Luther with the Super Show and they helped get us off the ground. So it's really cool that that is how you discovered us.

The retro junkies network is so cool. I actually just started listening to retro thoughtpod and did the backlog on that. Eagerly await a return of some kind from it.

It's coming back. We gave it to one of the other guys who wanted to start a random retro show. Should be back before the end of the year.
