The PS1 was one of the most important consoles of the 90's as it really kicked the door in for more 3D style games. What are your all time favorite games for the console?
My top five would be:
1. Harvest Moon: Back to Nature
2. Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
3. Parappa the Rapper
4. Final Fantasy VII
5. Crash Team Racing

When it was originally released, I played a lot of Resident Evil 1 and 2. Looking back now, I'd have to say a couple of my favorites are Um Jammer Lammy (nice pick with Parappa btw) and Castlevania: SOTN.

Parappa's one that I've never seen in the wild, which does chaff a bit. It's easier to find the PSP port than the PS1 port

I'd probably go with Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition. Lots of replay and great box art! And I don't usually like puzzle games.

I never have been able to get into this game. Maybe because I didn't get my PS1 until 2000. |

I never have been able to get into this game. Maybe because I didn't get my PS1 until 2000. I got mine in 2000 as well, and I have heard a lot of people say they never got into this game. It was my introduction into the final fantasy series. I cried like a school girl when *spoiler alert* aeris dies. I still get choked up... Like I am right now. |

Syphon Filter
Final Fantasy 7
Legend of Legaia
Final Fantasy 9
Metal Gear Solid (whatever the first one was)
